Il 16 ottobre 1943 rappresenta una data "importante" per gli Italiani: la data della deportazione degli Ebrei dal ghetto di Roma ai campi di concentramento nazisti.
In quel giorno, 1024 Ebrei vennero rastrellati. Solo 16 tornarono.
60 anni fa.
Solo 2 sono ancora vivi oggi.
I corpi muoiono, ma il ricordo deve rimanere vivo. E il dolore. E la vergogna.
Perché certe cose non si possano ripetere.

October 16, 1943, represents an "important" date for Italian people: the date of the deportation of Hebrews from Rome Ghetto to nazi concentration camps.
In that day, 1024 Hebrews were combed. Only 16 came back.
60 years ago.
Only 2 are still alive, today.
Bodies die, but the memory must remain alive. And pain. And shame.
So that such things will not hapen again.
