Un meteorite abbastanza grande esplode nel cielo della Russia. Qualche ora più tardi, un asteroide, più grosso, passa a circa 30.000 km dalla terra.
Sono due eventi indipendenti, con una probabilità bassissima di accadere insieme (1 ogni 10-20.000 anni), ma sono accaduti. Perché la probabilità non è certezza.
Ma non è la fine del mondo.
A pretty big meteor exploded in Russian skies. A few hours later, an asteroid, much bigger, passed at around 17,000 miles from Earth.
These are two independent events, with a very low probability to happen together (1 every 10-20,000 years), however they happened. Because probability is not certainty.
But it's not the end of the world.
