Claudia Mitchell ha perso un braccio in un incidente di moto. Per ottenere questo risultato, i chirurghi hanno deviato i nervi che arrivavano alla spalla facendoli crescere e connettendoli a muscoli del petto, da cui poi vengono presi i segnali che si trasmettono ai sei motori del braccio bionico.

Claudia Mitchell lost an arm in a motorcycle accident. She's the first woman to be fitted with a bionic arm, allowing her to make complex movement simply thinking them, like a real arm. To obtain this result, surgeons redirect the nerves arriving to the shoulder, allowing them to grow and integrate to chest muscles, and then taking the signals from here and transferring to the six motors of the bionic arm.
The movie is really impressive... a small piece of future is here. And I'm happy to have seen it.
