Sono stati scoperti, grazie a telescopi a onde radio, due buchi neri che convivono all'interno di un ammasso stellare, nella costellazione del Sagittario. I due buchi neri sono ad una distanza minore di 4 anni luce... bruscolini, in termini galattici.
Come interagiranno l'uno con l'altro e con le stelle intorno? Ci possono essere gruppi di molti buchi neri "vicini"?
Ma non tutti sono d'accordo che siano veramente due buchi neri...
Two black holes, cohabiting the same star cluster, in the constellation Sagittarius, were discovered thanks to radio telescopes. The two black holes are less than 4 light years away... peanuts, in galactic perspective.
How will they interact with each other and with the stars around? Can there possibly be groups of many black holes "nearby"?
But not everybody agrees that they are two black holes...
