"Questo può spiegare perché in quasi tutti i sistemi di navigazione GPS sul mercato, la voce di default è femminile. Una interessante eccezione è stata la Germania, dove la BMW è stata obbligata a richiamare un sistema di navigazione con voce femminile sulle vetture della Serie 5, negli ultimi anni 90, dopo essere stata inondata da chiamate di uomini tedeschi che rifiutavano di ricevere indicazioni sulla direzione da una donna." :-D

"This may explain why in almost all GPS navigation systems on the market, the default voice is female. One notable exception has been Germany, where BMW was forced to recall a female-voiced navigation system on its 5 Series cars in the late 1990s after being flooded with calls from German men saying they refused to take directions from a woman." :-D
